There is nothing like fresh fruits and vegetables during the summer months.  Locally grown produce peppers, tomatos,  carrots and many more  are  wonderful.   Luckily there are plenty of local  farmer’s  markets on the South  Shore to chose from.

Braintree Farmers Market

Saturdays from 9 to 1 starting June 16th, 2012 and will run through October 27th with an indoor Thanksgiving market on November 17th. Located at the Braintree Town Hall Mall, One JFK Memorial Drive Braintree, MA. On inclement weather days the market will operate inside the Braintree Town Hall. Locally grown and made products. The Braintree Farmers Market is hosted by Sustainable Braintree.

Bridgewater   Farmer’s Market 

The Market is located on School St in Bridgewater.  We’re just off the common by the fire station.  It will run every Saturday from 9:30-1:30 from June 18th until September 24th.

Canton Farmer’s Market 

This Canton farmers market is located at Massachusetts Hospital School, 3 Randoph St Canton, MA. Stop by and check it out. Call to find out about its assortment of local specialties, vegetables, fruits, crafts and organic food. Hours are June 18-Mid October Thursday, 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Takes WIC, SFMNP

Carver Farmer’s market

Cohasset Farmer’s Market

Bring the entire family for a fun afternoon outing. You never know what you will run across at the Cohasset Farmer’s Market. Should it rain, the market may not be open. However, some of our vendors love to weather out the rain and can be seen under their tents as usual every Thursday.

The Dedham Square Country Store

Our Country Store uses a “Farmers’ Market” style business model by only selling products that would be found in typical Farmers’ Markets in New England. Like most Markets, ours is only open one day a week,every Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm.

All of our products are All-Natural, locally grown and produced, and are completely sustainable. We strive to bring you the freshest produce, seafood, baked goods, and a variety of other products that would easily allow you to shop for your groceries here every week, rather than fighting the crowds at the local grocery store. Local produce as well as local deserts

Duxbury Farmer’s Market

The DUXFARM Board of Directors has been working hard this winter to continue to build a unique market bringing local farmers and artisans together at  The Tarkiln Community Center, on RT. 53.  Enjoy the sense of community, while enjoying the music, fabulous fresh produce and art in one location each Thursday. Only the freshest regional products will be offered. Come and enjoy a true New England farmers market experience.  The benefits include, eating freshand healthy, while at the same time,  supporting our local farmers and small business people.    While everyone enjoys the benefits of reducing our carbon footprint.The site of our market is on the grounds of Duxbury’s historic twin schoolhouse, Duxbury Community Center, which recently has been lovingly renovated.

 

Easton  Langwater Farm  Easton MA

A  family-run farm in North Easton, MA. They  produce delicious and beautiful organic vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs, pumpkins, and more. The  farmstand hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 10 am – 6 pm.
