Day 304 US Navy’s 236th Anniversary Celebration in Hingham MA
Come to Bare Cove Park in Hingham MA  to celebrate the US Navy’s 236th Anniversary on Saturday, October 15th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  This is a great way to show your patriotism and celebrate our history.
The United States  Navy was established by the Continental Congress after votes were made to fit out two sailing vessels with the intent to send them out on a cruise of three months to intercept transport vessels carrying munitions and stores to the British army in America.
There will be a  Color Guard from the Navy Operational Support Center in Quincy will there.  Also the Hingham Naval Ammunition Depot Memorabilia Display will be exhibited at the Dock House. Refreshments will be available and admission is free for all.
Parking is available on Bare Cove Park Drive, just off Fort Hill and West streets. Another lot is located by the athletic fields off Beal Street, near Lincoln Plaza
