Free Outdoor Summer Concerts and movies in Weymouth MA 2012
The town of Weymouth will be holding free concerts and outdoor movies this summer.  Join them on Thursday nights for the  2012  summer concert and movies series held at the Ralph Talbot Amphitheatre next to  Weymouth Town Hall.  So your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music and movies!

July 5th Wayne Potash 6:30 pm
Wayne Potash is one of the best singer/songwriters for children in New England, with six award winning albums, a great live band, and a new cable show. He’s been compared to artists as varied as Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, and Dan Zanes. Boston Harborfest, Harvard University, MIT, and Regis College feature his family shows and music programs for kids. He’s a New England Arts performer and a Berklee College of Music alumnus.
July 12th Johnny the K Â 6:30 pm
Nationally acclaimed and award winning musician and teacher, John Kelleher, along with his 12 string guitar and his unique collection of costumed hats, masks, and disguises, educates and inspires his audiences through his spirited and interactive style of music. His exciting and unique method of teaching and empowering children has been greeted with overwhelming approval and support   for the past 23 years!
July 19 th Toe Jam  Puppet band 6:30 pm
Toe Jam Puppet Band will have the kids dancing!
From dance songs like Do the Conga, Barn Dance and Block Cheese Dance Party to interactive songs such as Car Wash the flying Laundry and the wacky bubble machine, everyone, young and old, can’t resist singing and dancing along. Plain old walls magically become a shadow puppet theater for Mr. Bun, Born a Bug, and various other puppet shows.

Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
August 16 th “Mamma Mia!â€(at the George Lane Beach) 8:00 pm
Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth star in this big screen adaption of the hit musical based around the timeless hits of Swedish pop sensations Abba. The plot sets in motion when Sophie (Amanda Seyfried, Mean Girls), daughter of Donna (Streep), sends a letter to three men, inviting them to her wedding–because after reading her mother’s diary, she suspects that one of them is her father. When all three arrive at the Greek island where Donna runs a hotel, Donna flips out and finds that passions she thought she’d laid aside are coming back to life. Music and fun ensue.
