There will be several Polar Express event that you can bring your children to over the month of December 2012 South of Boston ! Kids will be absolutely delighted and have memories for a lifetime! Get your tickets before they sell out. Â
The Polar Express begins when the train door slides open and there stands the conductor. Reaching into his jacket pocket he removes a large pocket watch, with a smile and a stare he looks to you and exclaims,

Scituate Polar Express
Sunday, December 9th 2012 the spirit of the holiday will descend upon the quaint village of Scituate, MA as children embark on a magical train ride to the North Pole. This 60-90 minute train ride departing from the
Greenbush Commuter Rail Station to the North Pole will delight children and adults alike. Once the conductor yells “All Aboard†passengers will board the trains. Children will be entertained with the reading of this classic story of “The Polar Expressâ€, have milk and cookies, sing Christmas carols, and be visited by Santa’s Elves, Frosty, Rudolph, and the big man in red, Santa, and Mrs. Claus. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas to get into the spirit of the event. Each child will receive a bag full of goodies and most importantly the “magical†silver bell.
There are 4 train rides scheduled for Sunday December 9, 2012 departing at 9:45AM, 12:30PM, 2:40PM and 4:40PM. The 12:30 train will have a reserved car for children with any type of special need. Passengers should be at the station a minimum of 30 minutes prior to departure time. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure.
Tickets for the Scituate North Pole Express are $20; children under the age of 1 may ride free on the lap of an adult. Tickets can be purchased online by using PayPal or at The Front Street Book Shop, at their new location, 122 Front Street, Scituate Harbor, MA. Saint Joseph School Polar Express will take your family on a magical ride full of music, singing, treats and a reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s ‘The Polar Express’ by guest storytellers.
Departing from the MBTA Needham Heights station, The Saint Joseph School Polar Express is scheduled for Saturday December 1st with roundtrip trains running at 12:00, 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00. Tickets are $25
