February school winter vacation is fast approaching and if you are like my family you are not traveling someplace warm.  Here are some events and activities that will keep the kids busy on the South Shore Check back as additional activities will be added as we learn about them!  If you know of an event  let us know

Mad Hatter *Kids Class* with Sarah – $15
Don’t be late for this very important date! Design your own hat barrette using a variety of funky ribbons, trinkets, flowers, feathers and gems. We will use Donna M’s Craft Dee Bowz, so bring yours if you own it! We will also be using glue guns with low temp glue. Grownups, bring a coffee (if you wish) and relax in the store, while your child is busy creating.
Adams Historical National Park Quincy  President’s Week ActivitiesÂ
The Adams National Historical Park has something every afternoon (Tues-Fri) at the Visitors Center from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. All activities are free! The visitors center is located at 1250 Hancock Street in Quincy Center. Free validated parking!
 Creature Teachers at Hanson Public LibraryÂ
Creature Teachers are coming to the Hanson Public Library over February Vacation Week! This FREE event takes place on Friday, Feb 22nd at 10:30am. Creature Teachers presents: Misunderstood Creatures! Do porcupines shoot their quills? Do toads really give you warts? These and many old wives tales are addressed in this exciting program about the creatures we encounter in our daily lives. Skunks, milk snakes, and flying squirrels are but a few of the interesting creatures you will meet in this informative program. Pre-registration is required.
