The 2013  South Shore, Cape & Islands Beer Week will be held Saturday May 4 to  Thursday May 9^th   is to enhance beer knowledge and appreciation through a series of events throughout the South Shore of Boston, Cape Cod, and the islands.

Throughout the week, opportunities will be available to sample many unique offerings from dozens of world class brewers from just up the street to halfway across the globe. With the support of local bars, restaurants, caterers,  liquor stores retailers, and entertainers, South Shore Cape & Islands Beer Week is sure to provide something for everyone including many promotional and beer testing events . Highlights for the week include

Cisco Brews Cruise

Event Date and Time:  Saturday   May 4 2013 - 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Start the first evening of beer week with a relaxing cruise around Plymouth Harbor. Cisco is providing the beer. Captain John Boats in Plymouth is providing the boats, Driftwood Publick House is providing the food. There will be Live Music provided by Jeff Ross.

 

Start beer week off with a Plymouth Pub Crawl. A number of establishments will be featuring beer specials or specific breweries. Here’s a list:
The Office Bistro – Allagash/Kentucky Ale and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
British Beer Company Plymouth Sierra Nevada and a cask of Lagunitas
Martini’s Plymouth (a food pairing event), Mamma Mia’s Kkatie’s Burger Bar, T-Bones, Lucioso’s, and the East Bay Grille will all be featring the fine brews from Goose Island
The Shanty Rose will be faturing Cisco Brewery beers
Cabby Shack will be having a deck party featuring Kona Brewery

Beer Dinner featuring the beers from Heavy Seas and Southern Tier at Jimmy’s Pub

Sam Smith beer dinner at the British Beer Co. in Pembroke
