Day 620 Carver Old Home Day 2013
The Carver Old Home Day get together is held in Shurtleff Park in Carver, Massachusetts on Saturday July 27th at 10am.  Carver Old Home Day has been held yearly since 1901. This is a community wide event and all are welcome.
Come enjoy the Horseshoe Tournament, Classic Car Cruise with Trophies and Dash Placques, Children’s Doll Carriage and Bike Parade, Music, and Juried Art Show!

Horseshoe Tournament ~ Double elimination tournament begins at 8:00 am Shurtleff Park
Bike  Doll Carriage Parade ~ Children decorate their bicycles, wagons, and doll carriages and celebrate with a terrific parade through Shurtleff Park.  This begins at 10:00 am this year
(30 minutes earlier than last year), register in front of the United Parish from 9:30 to 10:00 am.
Classic Car Cruise ~ Antique and Classic Cars come together at the town hall, then cruise at 11:00 am! Music will be provided.
Juried Art Show ~Â Â Come view some art from local artists of all ages or arrive early and participate by bringing your framed art.
Lots of Music ~ We traditionally have enjoyed the patriotic sounds of a The Legion “Bud†Band followed by the fun music of The Three Amigos at Shurtleff Park. Hard Case Rock entertained in the Town Hall Parking lot for the Car Cruise last year. All Hands Drumming entertained the children on the green. Working on this years line up.
Craft Fair ~ You will find lots of handmade creations for sale from local Crafters. If you are interested in participating as a crafter please complete and return this application

 Old Fashion Clambake ~ Served under the pines at Shurtleff Park at about 1:30 pm. Clambake tickets should be purchased in advance. Cheryl at 508-866-9196
Children’s Activities ~ A Rock Climbing Wall, a Bouncer, Face Painting, and many other activities are available for children during the day for little or no cost.
Carver Girl Scouts will have a table at Old Home Day this year. We will be taking registrations for the 2013-2014 year! We will also have a bake sale.
Register your scout for next year so they can participate in the fun things we do…overnight campouts, rock climbing, International Day, Me & My Guy Dance and much more!
