SSC Family Arts Festival Winter 2015 in Hingham & Duxbury MA
The South Shore Conservatory will be holding its Family Arts Festival at in Hingham and Duxbury  locations  on Saturday January 24th  . The conservatory welcomes local families to spend time together exploring music, theater and dance. Admission is free

Duxbury 1:30-3 pm
Open to the public, the free Family Arts Festival welcomes the area’s families to spend time together exploring the variety of arts enrichment offerings at SSC. Our continuum of learning nurtures every age and stage of development.
This semi-annual festival begins with an SSC faculty performance followed by an open house passport travel through SSCreativeseeds programs. A variety of activities include:
Instrument Petting Zoo: Percussion, Woodwinds, Brass
Interactive Movement and Drama presentation
Piano FUNdamentals class sampler
Creative Dance Sampler (Duxbury only)
Suzuki Method Demonstrations
Arts Principled Preschool and Kindergarten open house (Hingham only)
Admission to all activities is free of charge. Families are welcome to tour the facility, meet faculty and staff, and learn more about the broad range of programs offered for children of all ages.

South Shore Conservatory, recently recognized as a national model for arts education by the National Guild for Community Arts Education, is celebrating nearly 45 years of enriching the lives of South Shore residents through music and the arts. SSC was founded as a not-for-profit community music school in 1970 and now has two beautiful campuses in Hingham and Duxbury. Currently serving over 3500 students of all ages and abilities, SSC is the largest community school for the arts in Massachusetts.
