South Shore International Festival 2015 in Hingham MA
The  4th Annual South Shore International Festival! Saturday May 2nd 12-4pm at the Hingham Shipyard. MA with the purpose of enriching our community with a variety of multicultural learning opportunities for all ages and celebrating the cultural diversity.
This festival presents a unique opportunity to raise international-mindedness in young people and families by traveling the world on the sidewalks of Hingham. It is our goal to create a free, public event where people have the opportunity to learn more about the world and its people. This festival represents Su Escuela’s model for global education and awareness.
Each company who sponsors represents a country and has a sign with the country’s information on it. The children must go around and fill out information from at least ten countries and mark this information down in their passport (given out upon arrival) in order to win a prize!
This year, Elsa from Frozen will be there at the beginning of the festival to perform, sign autographs, take pictures, and support bilingualism on the South Shore. We’ll also have several other performers, such as steel drums, magicians, etc. and a DJ! There will also be numerous other activities for the children and many ways for adults to have fun too! You won’t want to miss out on this!”
