2016 Annual Quincy Christmas Holiday Parade and Celebrations
The City of Quincy will host its annual slate of Christmas events beginning on Friday, November 25th with the Turning on of the Christmas Lights. Santa and his elves will arrive by parachute on November 26th and the 64th Annual Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, November 27th at 12:30. All events are free and open to the public.

Friday, November 25th , 2016 5pm-7pm
McIntyre Mall (tents in front of City Hall), 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy
The activities will kick off at 5:00 pm and includes the Donna Marie Children’s Puppet show, Costumed Characters, and the combined Quincy/ North Quincy Choir. The performances will be held inside of a heated tent that will be set up on the lawn. At 6:00 PM, Mayor Thomas P. Koch will turn on the Christmas lights at the library and throughout Quincy Center to mark the beginning of our holiday season. Please join family and friends and enjoy free popcorn and hot chocolate on this very special night.

The parade has over 100 units which include high school and adult marching bands from around the state, Christmas themed floats, and many more exciting entries. “Traditions of Christmas” is the theme for Quincy’s 64th annual Christmas Parade
