Braintree Memorial Day Ceremony
The Town of Braintree will hold a Memorial Day tribute on May 28 at 11 am at the Garden of Honor, Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street. All are invited to attend.
Brockton Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Start: War Memorial Building, 156 West Elm St. at 10 am.
Route: Left on Arlington Street, left on Belmont Street, left on Main Street, Continue on Main to Legion Park Way, Left onto Legion Parkway and ending with a Ceremony at the Veterans’ of all Wars Monument Located on Legion Parkway @Warren Ave.
Canton Memorial day Ceremony
Monday May 29th
Memorial Day ceremonies will begin with the parade on Washington Street from Canton High School at 9 a.m.
Cohasset Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
Monday May 29th
10:30 am – Kicks off at American Legion Hall with stops at North Cohasset Cemetery, North Cohasset Honor Roll, Woodside Cemetery, and Beechwood Cemetery.
Duxbury Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 29th 10:00am
Duxbury Memorial Day Parade and Servies. A reception at the American Legion will follow.
Begins at Myles Standish Cemetery, Chestnut Street and ends at First Parish Church

Easton Memorial Day
Easton’s annual Memorial Day Parade ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. May 29, with groups to begin forming no later than 1:30 p.m. at the Church Street Cemetery in South Easton.
The parade will regroup after the ceremony and march from Church Street to Depot Street and then to the Civil War Memorial, where another ceremony will close out the event.
Halifax Memorial Day Parade
Monday May 29th 9:30 a.m Parade from the Shelby Plaza along Route 106 to town hall, where ceremonies will be held, including laying of wreaths at 10 a.m.
Hanover Memorial Day Parade

Starts at St. Mary’s Church and ends at Town Hall.
Hanson Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 29th 10AM
The Hanson Memorial Day Parade will begin at the Indian Head School with a reading of the Memorial Day Proclamation. The parade will proceed to the Town Hall for a reading of the Gettysburg Address. The participants will regroup and march to the Fern Hill Cemetery for Memorial Day Ceremony and guest speakers.
Hull Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Begins at Hull high school and continues to march to the Gold Star Mothers Monument in Hull Village Cemetery.
Hingham Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday May 29th 11 a.m.
Veterans Memorial Park in Hingham Center. USAF Brig. Gen. Christopher Weggeman will be the principal speaker. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be conducted in Hingham Town Hall’s Sanborn Auditorium.
Kingston Memorial Day Parade

Kingston Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies. Tributes will be made at each War Memorial in town, and a small ceremony will be held at Town Hall at the end of the parade.
Marshfield Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Begins behind Marshalls in Webster Square, proceeds down Snow Road to Veterans Memorial Park.
Milton Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday May 29th 9:30 am
A wreath-laying ceremony at town hall. It will be followed by a march to Milton Cemetery for ceremonies.
Norwell Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
Monday May 29th 10:30am
The corner of Main and Lincoln streets. Marchers will proceed east on Main Street to the Norwell Veterans Memorial Common, then turn south on River Street and regroup on the common for an 11 a.m. ceremony. A reception at the American Legion will follow.
Pembroke Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Starting at 12:45pm until 2:30 pm, the Center will be closed from Lucky Dawg on Mattakeesett St. to Oldham St. at First Church. Please use Mountain Ave., Wampatuck and Oldham as detours.
Plymouth Memorial day parade and ceremony
From Shirley Square parade proceeds north on Route 3A stopping at 1820 Courthouse Green, then to Samoset Street entering Vinehills-Oak Grove Cemetery, to Summer Street to the World War I Memorial Bridge over Town Brook and continues on to the Training Green.
To honor all soliders, this Memorial Day weekend there will be 150 flags placed around the monument in the center of Plymouth’s own Training Green. They will be placed there honoring all the men and women from Plymouth who have fought for our country. The Memorial Day parade will end at the Green with a small ceremony and a wreath laying.

Quincy Memorial Day Parade,
Monday, May 29th 10:30 a.m.
The parade will step off from Quincy Credit Union at 10:30 a.m. on Memorial Day and march along Hancock Street to Coddington Street and finally to Mount Wollaston Cemetery, where the ceremony will be held at the World War II podium.

Battleship Cove Fall River
Remember, honor and celebrate those who gave their lives to ensure the freedoms we now enjoy on May 29, 2017, at Battleship Cove for an official commemoration ceremony with keynote speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Tracy, from the Naval War College.
Experience a traditional military observance, honoring the fallen and Gold Star Families at 12:00pm with the raising of the American flag from half-staff and a 21-gun salute.
The ceremony is open to the public at no charge. All Veterans will also receive free admission from Saturday, May 27, to Monday, May 29, 2017.
Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
