AÂ beloved tradition for all ages, Christmas in the Square is old fashioned seasonal, community fun with sparkling lights throughout town, a police escort of Santa on a fire truck and visits with him on South Street, shops open late and offering special treats, and live music performed by local musicians and student groups.
Santa are precious (there will be complimentary photos with Santa taken by Cloutier Photography). Before going home to dream about sugar plum fairies and gift lists, take some time to warm up with delicious hot chocolate and to watch the classic It’s a Wonderful Life on the train vent courtyard, courtesy of the Saint Paul School.
Continue the festivities on Saturday With a day of shopping in downtown Hingham Square with tons of kids activities, horse-drawn hayrides, music, and more. Hope to see you there!
