Code Wiz Quincy

Code Wiz Quincy will offer 2  morning  session during  April  vacation week

Modding with Minecraft (Ages 7+)

Explore, create, or survive! Mine deep into the Minecraft world and create the future! In this creative camp, challenge the odds, craft your own kinds of weapons, and build dream worlds using code. Do this while also learning fundamental programming concepts, level design, and problem-solving skills. You will make use of ready-made coding blocks to create mini versions of Minecraft games.

Design Your Own Roblox Game (Ages 7+)

Anyone can build a game in Roblox! Roblox Studio has all the tools to make your wildest gaming imaginations a reality. You tell us what game you want to make and we’ll teach you the fundamentals and coach you through bringing that game to life! Whether you’re new to coding or have some experience, you will be challenged and have fun while bringing your game to life. Through drag-and-drop techniques or pure scripting, you’ll be creating extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding.

The Most Extreme: Parents
Did you know that a female Octopus will go months without eating while she guards and takes care of her eggs? Or that the tiny Strawberry Poison Dart Frog will carry each of her tadpoles to the top of a different tree and visit them every single day? Join us as we explore nature’s most miraculous moms and daredevil dads in The Most Extreme: Parent Edition!

NSRWA VACATION ADVENTURES (AGES 9-13)

Looking to get your youth outside and into an adventure during spring break? Join North South River Watershed Assoc. for a fun, exciting and educational week of outdoor adventures. All equipment and transportation provided.
BYO water bottle & dress for weather.

All participants will be transported by NSRWA Van to program sites.
Pick up and Drop off will be at Hartsuff Park in Rockland
The NSRWA van will arrive at 9:00am and drop off will be NOON

April Vacation “Fun Week”

Join Rockland Recreation during April Vacation!

Bring your snacks & lunch (please try to avoid peanut products)
Backpacks/Bags should be clearly marked and include nutritious snacks, lunch and drinks. Dress according to the activity of the day. SNEAKERS ONLY! We spend free time in the gym playing games.

You have the option to attend all 4 days or single days.

Program Content: Activities planned will include arts & crafts, contests, games, movies and special events listed below:

Tuesday: X-Treme Craze (Airpark, $10 arcade card)
Wednesday: Dave & Busters (food, arcade card)
Thursday: Launch (jump and unlimited laser tag included)
Friday:Pizza and Ice Cream (provided)

Program is 9:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday-Friday:
You may register for one day or all 4.
Cost: $80/child/day or $300/children for all 4 days!

April Vacation: Chipmunk “Fun Week”

The “Chipmunk” April Vacation program is geared towards children 3-6 years of age.

All children attending MUST BE POTTY TRAINED. We do not have the facilities to change diapers or pull ups.

You have the option to attend all 4 days or single days.

Program Content: Activities planned will include arts & crafts, contests, games, movies and more!

Themes:
Tuesday: Mismatch day
Wednesday: Future job day
Thursday: Luau Day
Friday: Pajama Day & teddy bear day

PLEASE NOTE :
Program is 9:00am-3:00pm, (no naps) Tuesday-Friday.

Rec Program 2025
Days off, done right! School breaks & vacations are right around the corner, which means there’s fun to be had at Starland! Our Rec Program is well-known by parents on the South Shore and beyond for being the most engaging and versatile day program in the area. For over a decade, we’ve brought together thousands of kids from countless communities to learn, play, and grow. When your child arrives, they can expect sports like kickball and capture-the-flag, Starland attractions like go-karts and mini golf, arts & crafts, and so much more! Registration is open for 2024 holidays and school breaks!

APRIL VACATION SOCCER CLINIC AGES 4-11
We have partnered with New England Futsal to offer this is a fun and exciting clinic. It provides a great soccer experience, creating
a dynamic and fun-filled environment, designed to stimulate ALL players regardless of age or ability. Players will embrace their
fun-filled week building soccer skills, friendships and a love of the sport. (3 classes)

Mind in Motions STEM workshop

Join us for Minds in Motion’s STEM Workshop and dive into the exciting world of robotics with the AI SmartCore 4 Robot, designed for kids ages 6-10! In this hands-on program, young engineers will build and take home their very own AI-powered robot featuring four unique modular smart vehicles. From the All-Terrain Cube, which navigates with precision and balance, to the Super Snake, an interactive robot sure to entertain both two- and four-legged friends, the excitement never stops! Kids will also assemble the Turbo Trike, built for speed and control, and the Titan Tank, a fearless explorer ready for adventure. With 42 easy-to-snap-together parts, a remote control, and a rechargeable LiPO battery, this workshop is perfect for budding roboticists eager to learn and create. Whether tackling tricky terrain, racing at top speeds, or exploring new territories, each day brings engaging, hands-on STEM fun. Outer space fun

Blast off into an exciting world of space exploration and physics fun in this hands-on STEM workshop for kids ages 6-10! Young scientists will build and take home their very own Orbiting Solar System Kit, assembling a model that showcases our planetary neighborhood in motion with a wind-up motor. With just a flick of the wrist, the planets will orbit around the sun, bringing the wonders of space to life! But the fun doesn’t stop there—kids will dive into engaging experiments exploring physics, air pressure, and density. They’ll get to see and touch a real meteorite fragment, launch a cosmic rocket soaring up to 50 feet in the air, and assemble their own stunt plane while discovering the four major forces of flight. Plus, they’ll witness jaw-dropping science demonstrations, including an egg magically getting sucked into a bottle and the creation of a mini tornado! FOX WOODS FARMS HORSEMANSHIP
APRIL VACATION PROGRAM AGES 6-12
Horse lovers will learn how to properly handle a horse as they prepare to ride, gaining confidence in themselves and buildinga trusting relationship with their safe ponies and horses. Students participate in daily farm chores, riding, arts and crafts,
games and more.ASTM approved helmets only, and can be
provided. No open toe shoes, boots preferred.
