Join the staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library and City of Quincy Recreation Department for free summer fun each Tuesday during the 50 Days of Freedom; June 18, 25 and July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Storytime begins at 10 a.m.. Weather permitting. Free Event.
June 18 storytime features Rick Goldin. For over twenty years Rick Goldin’s lively, interactive and humorous children’s songs have made him one of the most popular children’s entertainers in New England. Children love his live performances because they get to sing, dance and jump along with Rick and his singing animal puppets. This program is sponsored by Quincy Braintree Family Network-CFCE a grant funded by the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care, administered through Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc as lead agency.
June 25th -10:00am – 10:45am Let’s go where things get wet with Diane Edgecomb’s Water Wizards program. Be a clam or a Jellyfish in the Native American Legend. How Whales got their Spouts, and end with the antics of a curious monkey going for a wild ride in the ocean. Appropriate for children age 5 and under.
