June 30th- The 781 Band
Your favorite top 40 hits from the last 30 years! Pop, Rock, Country and anything else that gets you moving! The Band consists of Rob Short (lead vocals), Drew Contois (lead guitar & vocals), Ryan Calter (rhythm guitar & vocals), Todd Laporte (bass) and John Iacadoro (drums).
July 14th- The New City Cowboys
The New City Cowboys are a group of country music lovin’ lifelong friends based, of all places, just south of Boston Massachusetts. They’ve been performing for years as The Armstrong Brothers band to popular acclaim throughout the South Shore since the 1980’s. But they love the new music coming out of Nashville so much that five years ago they formed their new band, The New City Cowboys, to bring the “New Nashville Sound” to the Boston area. Their goal is to make sure that you have as good a time listening to their favorite country music as they do performing it for you!
The New City Cowboys are: Jim and Joe Armstrong, Bill Holbrook, as well as occasional visiting musicians and longtime ‘friends of the band”, performing the country music we love from the likes of Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, and others.
July 28th- 5pm Paul Doolittle & Erin Thornton and 6pm John Doney
Paul Doolittle and Erin Thornton are an acoustic duo playing classic songs from all decades of the modern era of American Popular Music.
John Doney is a singer-songwriter with Western MA roots who has settled down in the South Shore. His music has been influenced by folk, rock, blues and country. He pulls from the likes of the Beatles and Paul Simon, with a nod towards rock n’ roll’s country and blues foundation. He has been writing and performing music across the state for the past 10 years.
August 11th- Rick Barron and The Quavers
Their music is described as original Country Americana, Oldies and Rock n Roll. Rick has won awards for his songwriting for Billboard and M.C.M.A.A. in Massachusetts and performed his songs in Nashville at the famous Bluebird Cafe, Charlie Daniels Talent Show and many other venues in the South Shore and beyond! Rick has been headlined as a “Brookline Cop who is a real country crooner”. The band performs regularly Mr. Dooley’s Irish Village Pub.
August 25th- Divas with a Twist
Divas with a Twist is a unique musical group that performs all different genres of music, based out of Boston, MA. With five powerhouse female vocalists, backed by Grammy nominated musicians, Divas with a Twist is sure to captivate any audience. The musicians and vocalists bring originality and a high powered sound, creating, and delivering unique and highly entertaining performances every time! You’ll hear songs by Queen, The Who, Gloria Estefan, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Maroon Five, Lady Gaga, Adele and MORE!
September 8th- North Sea Gas
Have a “Gas”! “North Sea Gas” that is! One of Scotland’s most popular and enduring bands, “North Sea Gas” formed over 39 years ago and is still continually traveling the world bringing their brand of Scottish traditional, contemporary and self-penned music to the people. This highly entertaining Scottish folk trio offers high energy instrumentals, history, great craic, and tremendous three part harmonies giving the “Gas” show universal appeal.
