National Night Out South Shore MA 2019
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live duringthe first week of August . Together, we are making that happen.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits
Sunday August 4th starting at 5:30pm. The K9 demonstrations will be about 6:30 and the outdoor movie, Disney’s Zootopia, will begin about around 7:45-8. Remember to bring a blanket or lawn chair for the movie.
It will be held in the same place as last year behind the Silver Lake Regional High School/Middle School located at 260 Pembroke Street, Kingston. If you want to enjoy the parade of different vehicles coming down Pembroke Street with their lights and sirens 🚨 going, please get there before 430pm, get a parking space out front, and walk down towards the entrance to the lower lot near the water tower. Every year it has grown and we hope to top it this year as always. Free food, games, Horses 🐴, a K9 Demo, motorcycles 🏍, helicopters 🚁, Kingston Fire Trucks and Fire Services, military vehicles, and much much more!
Tuesday, August 6, 5PM at the Town Pool located at the Pierce Playground off Jackson Street.
Hamburgers, hotdogs and pizza will be served.
Town Pool open for swimming
Police Cruiser, Fire Truck, Ambulance will be there for eveyone to check out.
Jumpy House for the kids and maybe some adults.

Please join us on Thursday, August 8th 2019 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this Public Safety Event at the Carver Middle/High School grounds. It is a night of food, fun, entertainment, and public safety demonstrations for the entire community. You will have the opportunity to explore public safety apparatus, such as an ambulance, fire engine, police cruiser and more. You can also watch live law enforcement K-9 demonstrations, participate in fire safety program and meet the public safety personnel of your town. Kids can enjoy a bounce house, rock wall, cotton candy, and other fun activities. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, soft drinks and ice cream, along with entertainment provided by DJ Mike Shaw.
The Milton Police Department will host a community event at the police station on Thursday evening, August 8th, 2019 from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM. It will be modeled after what the department has done in the past following National Night Out. This event is free and open to the public. It will include station tours, demonstrations, bounce houses, SWAT exhibit, refreshments & more. Please check back to this page as more details become available.
