President’s Day Weekend Winterfest 2020 in Quincy MA

The City of Presidents will be celebrating the 4th  President’s Day Weekend  Winter Festival, a free event for the whole family on Saturday February 15th  12-5pm  at Hancock-Adams  Common. . With outdoor interactive experiences, live music and special performances – – there is something for everyone.

The event will include performances by The Van Burens — a Quincy-based funk band — and the 215th Army Band Ensemble. The Puppet Showplace Theater of Brookline will put on a puppet show and Sasha the Fire Gypsy will perform.

Other activities will include: an all-ages escape room in a tent; a mobile video game truck and outdoor raceway; an animal station manned by the Blue Hills Trailside Museum; and photo opportunities with costumed characters. Beer and wine will be available for sale for moms and dads! As we said something for everyone!

Tours of the crypt in United First Parish Church at 1306 Hancock St. — the final resting place of John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Abigail Adams and Louisa Catherine Adams — will take place all day.

 

WinterFest will be rescheduled to Sunday, Feb. 16, in case of rain.
