South Shore Art Center Festival 2025 in Cohasset MA
The South Shore Art Center Arts Festival will be held over 2025 Father’s Day weekend Friday June 13th Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 156th at the Cohasset town common. It mixes the best of small town New England summer festivals with an uncommon attention to detail and commitment to presenting quality art and handmade craft.
South Shore Art Center Arts Festival celebrates its 70th year and showcases craft and fine artists from New England and beyond. In addition to juried exhibitor booths, the Arts Festival features a juried art exhibition and members’ show, live music performances, artist demonstrations, children’s art activities and a young artist exhibition. Amazing artwork and live music! Delicious food trucks and of course a refreshing beer garden!!!
- Juried Art Exhibition and Members’ Show in the Main Tent.
- A KidsTent featuring a Young Artists’ Exhibition and interactive art-making activities.
- Installation of “Decades” a series of large scale collaborative works by South Shore teens.
- 80+ juried craft exhibitor booths encircling the green with exquisite jewelry, home and garden products, hand-made clothing, ceramics, fine art and photography.
- Non-stop performances on the sound stage including renowned recording artists such as The Aldous Collins Band, Gracie Grace & All the Goodboys, and the Thirsty Boots.
- Food trucks, ice cream, and Del’s Lemonade.
- A beer tent with family-friendly lawn games organized by Greenbush and Norwell General & Package Stores.
- Installation of three exhibitions – Ebb & Flow, curated by Alyssa Fortin and Curtis Speers, My Spirit
Muse, featuring Sara Holbrook; and our Artist in Residence feature on James Burke – in South Shore Art Center galleries.
Festival parking will be available in Cohasset Village with satellite parking on Sohier Street at the Deer Hill and Osgood Schools; there will be a trolley to shuttle visitors from satellite parking to the historic Cohasset Common.
