Free Friday Night Summer Concerts Hingham Shipyard 2024

The Launch at Hingham Shipyard  will be hosting live music every Friday night from the  late June   to August 2024 All events are free of charge and start at 7 pm on the amphitheater right on the water. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.  Grab dinner at one of their restaurants before or after the show!!

July 7: Richie Rich and the 24-Karat Funk  Boston-based R&B, Funk, Jazz, Recording, and Wedding Band
July 14: Vyntyge Skynyrd   Lynyrd Skynyrd was the most formidable band ever to emerge from the South. Vyntyge Skynyrd tributes and celebrates the 1970’s era of the band by replicating this timeless music as it was originally recorded and performed. Vyntyge Skynyrd captures the fire and heart of the band, as well as the soul of their fearless leader Ronnie Van Zant.  You’ll be transported back to 1977 where you will hear all the classic Skynyrd favorites such as Sweet Home Alabama, Saturday Night Special, Gimme Three Steps, and of course you can yell “FREEBIRD” all you like because you will in fact get it! RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 27 AT 4PM

July 21: Fat City Band  Music should be fun   Now in our 5th decade, The Fat City Band has had the good fortune to be able to write, record, and perform our own unique style of Blues, Roadhouse Rock, Jazz, and New Orleans Style R&B for all our fans and friends alike from coast to coast and beyond.

August 11: Danny Gallagher Band Whether you want to boogie the night away with that irresistible Motown beat, or dance to your favorite swing, rock, or jump classics, Danny Gallagher and his band are sure to be a hit!
August 18: Booty Vortex  Get ready! Some of the finest, funkiest musicians from across New England have banded together to play the groovy tunes from the 70s. These timeless disco, funk songs will have you shakin’ what yo’ mama gave ya! And the heat these players/singers bring is guaranteed to knock you off your feet! If there’s a hole in your life, if your dancing shoes are staring at you woefully from the back of the closet, or if you just love to dance then you need to spend some time in the Vortex. Renew your spirit, get your groove on and experience the power of Booty Vortex!
August 25: Blame the Whiskey  Blame The Whiskey’s sound is big and unique. They are very well received, by local audiences, for their distinctive style and energy. Blame The Whiskey performs covers of Country/Americana songs as well as several original songs which have been featured on Boston’s 101.7 The Bull and 92.5 The River.
