Quincy’s Multicultural Folk Festival 2022
City of Quincy‘s Multicultural Folk Festival on the Hancock Adams Common will be held the weekend of August 6th and August 7th. Come and enjoy the food trucks and amazing entertainment during this fun-filled weekend!
Beginning on Saturday, August 6th at 6 p.m., there will be a one-time performance from Ronan Tynan on the stage outside Old Town Hall on the Hancock Adams Common. The internationally acclaimed Irish tenor will open the City of Quincy’s Multicultural Folk Festival. Known world-wide having sung at historic events including the funeral of President Ronald Regan and in the wake of 9/11, Tynan is well known as the “Big Irishman” for his inspiring voice and self-effacing humor.
Then, on Sunday, August 7th from 3-8 pm, multiple ethnic groups will be performing at the City of Quincy’s Multicultural Folk Festival on the Common. Throughout the afternoon and evening, there will be celtic musicians, southeast Asian dancers, Chinese dancers, a klezmer band, a polka band, latino dancers, an oom-pah-pah Oktoberfest band, a Balkan ensemble, folk americana music and more!
