Abington Celebrates Oktoberfest Weekend 2024

Abington Celebrates will be holding Oktoberfest celebration October 5th -6th  at various locations in Abington.  Many organizations  come together to celebrate the fall  in Abington

The Oktoberfest Weekend schedule is as follows:

 

Saturday, Oktober 5th
OKTOBERFEST MARKETPLACE (9AM-2 PM)
Hosted by Abington’s United Church of Christ  10 Bedford Street (Rte. 18) Vendors, crafters, raffles, food and fun! Thrift  shop with Christmas room will be open!!

ISLAND GROVE WALKING TOUR (11-12 PM) Hosted by Historical Society of Old Abington
Island Grove Park, 200 Park Avenue Discover and enjoy the history of Island Grove Tour begins on Lake Street side under the Arch

DYER MEMORIAL LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE (12:30-3 PM) FREE EVENT
Hosted by the Dyer Memorial Library & Historical Society of Old Abington
28 Center Avenue (Rte 123)  Library Tours and Geneology Research Overview

NOT-SO-SCARY WOODS (3-6 PM)  Sponsored by Abington Lions Club  Island Grove Park, 200 Park Avenue
