Abington Rockland & Whitman Tri Town Parade 2023
The 70th Annual Tri-Town Veterans Day Parade (Rockland, Abington, & Whitman), will be hosted this year by the Town of Rockland and will take place on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, starting at 10am! Abington Veterans’ Services
Participants will stage on North Union Street by Summit Street and Larry’s Auto and will march down Union Street, crossing Market Street and ending in the parking area of the old Rockland Plaza. Please join us on this special day to honor and thank all the Veterans who over these years have helped to secure the many freedoms and benefits that we enjoy today and every day!
Bridgewater Tri Town Veterans Day Parade 2023
The Tri-Town Parade is in Bridgewater this year! Parade steps off at 945am on summer st Speakers are at 11am at the gazebo at Legion Field.

Cohasset
The Town of Cohasset will observe Veterans Day with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park Saturday, Nov. 11, starting at 11 a.m. Along with readings and patriotic music on this meaningful day, Cohasset will be recognized as a Purple Heart Community and the winners of the Deer Hill School Veterans Day essay contest will read their essays. All are welcome to attend. A Veterans Day lunch will be held at the George H. Mealy American Legion Post # 118 following the ceremony.

Halifax
The Town of Halifax and Halifax Department of Veteran Services invites the public to attend our annual Veterans Day Celebration to honor all the Veterans in the community and abroad, The celebration will be held outside of the Town Hall, 499 Plymouth Street on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, at 11 am.
We are also excited to announce that during this year’s celebration, we will be unveiling forty-seven (47) Hometown Hero banners. They will be on display at the Town Hall before they are hung up throughout town. This project has been over a year in the making and we can’t wait to show them to the Town.
Hingham
Veterans’ Day 2023 will begin with the CPL Lawrence St. Laurent, USMC Breakfast in the Hingham Town Hall’s Central Meeting Room (2nd Floor), from 08:30-10:30 AM. This event is open to ALL Military, Veterans, and their families, sponsored by the Hingham Veterans’ Council and catered by Hart Brothers Catering of Rockland, MA.
The main event will begin promptly at 11:00 AM in Sanborn Auditorium on the 2nd Floor of Town Hall. The event will be led by Town Moderator Michael Puzo, with music performed by the Hingham High School Band and members of the Chorus. The principal speaker will be Colonel Robert Notch, U.S. Army (Ret.) He is the current President of the South Shore Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).
There will be reserved seating for ALL Military and Veterans. Following the main event, we will parade the colors outside the Town Hall main entrance, and conduct a brief wreath laying ceremony at the Veterans’ monument.

Milton
The Town of Milton and the office of Veteran Services announce this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony, which will be held on Saturday November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Milton’s Town Hall.
Milton’s Select Board and Milton Veterans Services, along with members of the American Legion Post 114 will conduct ceremonies to commemorate all our Veterans past and present. We will have special posthumous honors for a Milton Marine GYSGT Vincent Rafferty who served our nation for 20 yrs with multiple deployments to the Middle East and SW Asia.
Our featured speaker will be Professor Scott Smith, US Naval War College who served 32 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, who will speak on why Veterans Day is important.
The ceremony honoring all veterans will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and we will be joined by Milton High Chorus and Marching Band
Pembroke
Join Troop 143 at the Pembroke High school on November 11th for the Veterans Day Ceremony, honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Scouts are encouraged to come in their Class A uniform. Ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am – Troop 143 will be handing out donuts and coffee immediately following.
Plymouth
Quincy
The City of Quincy’s Annual Veterans Day Parade will kick off at 10:30 a.m. behind Quincy High School, heading north down Hancock Street to the WWII Memorial at the corner of Southern Artery and Hancock Street. The Ceremony will take place following the parade at approximately 11:30 a.m.

** Visit the Generals Bridge ; Park honoring eighteen Quincy Military Generals: In 2021, Quincy dedicated the Generals Bridge and Park honoring 18 military Generals who hail
from Quincy, MA for their accomplishments and contributions to our country. Located at the intersection of General Dunford Drive and General McConville Way, Quincy Center. The Generals Park features bronze likenesses of seven generals—three statues and four busts—an array of pavers, and a dynamic circular water feature. Interpretive text etched in the stone recalls the individual achievements of the three four-star generals and offers moments of
reflection and recognition.
