Abington Celebrates Christmas 2025
Abington will be celebrating Christmas with several events from Friday December 5th to Sunday December 7th. There will be plenty of fun from an ugly sweater party to Tree Lighting at Island Grove to pup pictures. Bring the kids to one of these fun holiday weekend events.

Abington Garden Club Greens and Craft Sale – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. United Church of Christ, 10 Bedford St. (Rte. 18) – Annual holiday favorite!
Dyer Memorial Library Open House -12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. 28 Centre Ave. (Rte. 123) – Free event Tour library on local history, genealogical collections Enjoy a special demonstration on the history of chocolate!
20th Annual Candle Lighting Service – 2:00 p.m. – 4 p.m. Drop in Hosted by Quealy & Son Funeral Home / 116 Adams Street ALL are welcome to light a candle in memory of a loved one.
Abington Celebrates Christmas at Island Grove – 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Lighting of the Bandstand at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by Abington Celebrates Committee / Island Grove Park, 200 Park Avenue Santa & Mrs. Claus in the Gingerbread Cabin, carolers, train display, tractor rides, demonstrations, refreshments, special holiday guests & more!
Sunday, December 7th
Pup Pics with Santa – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Hosted by Friends of Abington Dog Park / Gingerbread Cabin at Island Grove, 200 Park Ave. $20 each / All dogs must be on a leash
A Christmas Concert – 3:00 p.m. United Church of Christ / 10 Bedford St. / Free event – Good will offerings accepted Under the Direction of Doug Ulwick featuring the Abington Town Christmas Choir, Handbells, Vocal & Trumpet Solos & Audience Christmas Carol Sing-a-long!
