Lighting of the Green & Winter Wonderland 2025 in Taunton MA
The Lights On theme is Christmas Around the World . Downtown Taunton will be lit for the holiday season, with the city’s 110th Lights On festival kicking things off on Saturday December 6th 3-6pm and the Taunton parade on Sunday. The official ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. with the lighting of the Taunton Green. There will be live entertainment, various activities hosted by local businesses and organizations in the downtown area, a fireworks display, food vendors, and more. The lights will be on through January 1st. Bring the kids for a fun weekend event

During the month of December, after the Festival, the Christmas City has much to offer visitors & locals!
Visitors can enjoy the holiday lights display on the Taunton Green through New Years Day. Stroll around for the best views (parking is free downtown nights & weekends). Driving by the display in the car is also a great way to enjoy it! Don’t forget to roll down your windows to hear the music.
Santa is in his house on the Taunton Green on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 5-8 PM. Pictures are complimentary and you may also bring your own camera.
Victorian Carolers will be strolling on the Taunton Green on Friday & Saturday evenings. Stay tuned for the schedule.

The decorations are not just on the Taunton Green! Enjoy decorations along Main Street, at Liberty & Union Park (78 Main Street), and at Memorial Fountain on Church Green.
