Hingham Library Move & Groove Storytime (Ages 4 and under)  10:15am
Move & Groove Storytime, held on both Tuesdays & Wednesdays, is perfect for young children. This fast-paced Storytime includes fun stories, music, movement, and a big finish with bubbles! This program is suitable for children ages 4 and under with their caregiver. Gentle reminder: food is not permitted at Storytime. Space in this storytime is limited, and registration is required. We now offer three sessions of Move & Groove Storytime each week. Please register weekly  this program repeats thru the end of January

Wiggleworms storytime  Easton Library  1030am  
Best for mobile toddlers, Wiggleworms features songs, rhymes, and a story or two to keep little ones engaged. Join Miss Alyisha every Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the Children’s Room. Storytime runs for about 30 minutes. No registration required and all families are welcome!  On especially nice days, when the weather is clear and crisp, we may move outside to the Garden. Pembroke Library storytime 2-5 ages  1030am  Toddlers (ages 2 to 5) and their caregivers can enjoy an interactive storytime with songs, dances, and a story that encourage language development and social skills. Each themed storytime is followed by a craft.  Repeats weekly thru end of June

Story time includes books, flannel boards, and dancing!   Geared for ages 3 to 5 but all are welcome  repeats weekly thru the end of June

Hanson Library  LEGO Builders Club   4–5pm  Calling all master builders! Join us to create with LEGOs and connect with new friends. You’ll be presented with a different challenge each week, and your creation will be displayed in our lobby cases. This week’s challenge: Build something that keeps you warm in the cold weather like a mug of hot cocoa, a mitten, or a hat. This is not a librarian led program. Young children must be supervised by an assigned caregiver at all times.

Braintree Library Family Yoga for Little Ones 10:15am 
Join experienced yoga instructor Jennifer Lyn to stretch and breath deep. Jennifer returns with session of mindfulness, relaxation, games and simple yoga poses for kids. This class will be fun and engaging for kids 1-5 years old. Siblings are welcome.  Please bring a yoga mat, towel or use library carpet square. No registration is needed .Instructor Jennifer Lyn is the owner of Nurtured Roots LLC and is an experienced wellness coach, Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor.  Program made possible by the use of State Aid Funds.  Repeats weekly thru Feb 12th

Braintree Library  Baby and Me Movement & Mindfulness  11am   Join Jennifer Lyn in this Baby & Me movement and mindfulness classs. Jennifer offers a warm and supportive environment for parents and caregivers to connect with their newborns and infants, as well as with other adults in their community, through gentle movement, song and discussion.  Class is for newborn babies to pre-crawling and their parents/caregivers. No registration is needed.  Repeats weekly thru Feb 12th

Quincy Library  Toy Time – Ages 9-23 months  10-11am Come to the library for a free playtime session with your baby, ages 9- 23 months full of age appropriate toys and activities plus socializing with other children and caregivers.  A fun time for all and a chance to practice large and small muscle development. This program will meet in the large meeting room from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9th, Saturday, January 18th and Thursday January 23rd. Join us once, twice or all three times for some fun indoor play!  This program is for children ages 9 – 23 months accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and the doors will be closed when the room is full.

Baby Sing and Play at West Bridgewater Library 10;15  This is a lap-sit program of music, movement and stories for babies birth to 24 months. Registration now required repeats thru February 6th

 

Baby Lapsit babies to 2 yr old Pembroke Library 1030am Designed for babies and toddlers from 6 to 24 months, Lapsits are a great chance for caregivers to bond with their child. Each 30-minute program includes stretches, songs, and rhymes followed by an open play time that allows babies to play and grown-ups to chat. repeats weekly thru end of June

 

Randolph Library 1030am  Come bounce with us on Thursdays at Bouncing Tots! Created for little ones aged 0-3, accompanied by an adult, get ready for a jolly storytime adventure! Sing along, pick up sign language, dive into stories, and tons of other exciting activities. No need to sign up – just hop on in!  repeats thursday thru end of June except for Thanksgiving

Hingham Library  Music & Movement with Rebecca (ages 4 and under) 1030am 
Join Miss Rebecca for a class filled with music and movement. Rebecca is a musician who has a background in theater, music and improve. She is bringing her multiple talents to our library. Sing along to original songs and family favorites, as well as play with her collection of instruments. Great program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.  Space in this event is limited, and registration is required.  repeats weekly thru the end of Jan

Preschool Discovery Wollaston  Library in Quincy   3-4pm Drop by the Wollaston Library with your preschooler, ages 3-5, any time between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to do some fun simple science together. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child.

Each month activities, experiments and instructions will be provided on a different science topic you can do with your child.

In January we will be exploring Building & Engineering – Come build with us to explore simple engineering activities. Make block towers, send marbles down ramps, and try to make a bridge out of paper and cardboard.

Melissa & Doug take a long travel train set tableAs a mom of a 2 year old son who hates having a mess this was a MUST! I love how it folds up and all the pieces fit within it. It is also perfect for on the go as well! It is great quality and the pieces are actual wood & not cheap and thin!
