Duval Dance and Music Academy has become a staple in the community since it was established in 1949 in the seaside town of Scituate . We offer dance classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, contemporary, preschool dance classes and other dance styles. We also offer music lessons in piano, guitar and voice.
We offer the highest quality classes in music, dance and acro. Music lessons, dance classes and acro classes are offered at a variety of times so you can book classes for different children at the same time to save you hours of driving and waiting time.
At Duval Dance and Music Academy, we are constantly improving our class curriculum, providing on going training for our instructors and upgrading our facility to ensure that we are always providing our students and parents with the best experience possible.

Our parties are 1 ½ hours in length, led by our professional dance instructors. The instructors will lead children in a fun dance warm up and routine that matches your theme. Games such as freeze dance, hula hoop contest and limbo will be played. Before all the fun ends, your party will have time to light some candles, sing Happy Birthday, enjoy the refreshments and open presents.
What is the cost:
Up to 25 children including the birthday girl or boy — Current Members $325, Non-Members $350 (extra ½ hour is $50.00).
Deposit: A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance will be due one week prior to your party.

What should guests wear?
Comfortable clothing and dance shoes or socks are recommended.
What do I need to bring?
Guests will need to bring a cake or cupcakes, a knife to cut the cake and drinks (cups will not be provided, so individually packaged drinks are strongly recommended), candles and a lighter to light the candles. Parents can bring additional decorations, such as balloons.
The Studio will provide:
Plates, utensils, napkins, table cloths and basic decorations. The party room will be set with tables and chairs. The birthday girl or boy will receive their own Studio T-Shirt.
Add Ons:
Add-a-Craft: $5 per child: Add a themed craft to your party. Children will make a fun craft to match with the theme.
What to extend your party? Additional party time: $50 per half hour.
