Abington Library Toddler drop in storytime & play 1030am Join Miss Sandy (or Miss Heidi, or Mrs. Grimmett) every Monday morning at 10:30 AM this fall for our drop-in toddler time program! Toddler Time is a 20-minute program consisting of short stories, songs, scarf waving, egg shaking, and a puppet visit. This program is best suited for children ages 0-3. Monday Drop-In Toddler Time is on any Monday we are open. Our Toddler Times are funded by the Friends of the Library.

Children’s Concert with Little Groove @Adams Shore Quincy Library branch for ages 0-5 1030am
Join us on Tuesday, May 20th at the Adams Shore Library at 10:30 am for a concert especially for children ages 0-5 by Little Groove. In this fun and interactive 40-minute concert, children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will move and sing along with a musician from Little Groove. Children use real instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines, giving them a hands-on experience and fostering a love for music. Space is limited and the doors will be closed when the room is full.

Scituate Library Yoga with Kim Spires In-Person 11am
Drop-in Program for Children Ages 2-6 along with Their Caregiver: Connect with your children through story, music and movement to introduce yoga and mindfulness. Children will adore acting out stories via yoga poses and playing mindfulness games. Adults will learn techniques to use in their own homes to ease big emotions, sensory challenges and anxiety. This child focused class is best suited for ages 2-6, but all ages are welcome. Repeats Tuesday May 27th
Crafternoon Drop-In for Kids at Scituate Library 3pm
Drop in to the Children’s Program Room this fall for an easy craft, while supplies last. Crafts are simple and can be done by most children with caregiver support. This is not a drop-off event, and parent supervision is required in the room for children under 8.

Learning Adventures (Ages 0-5) at Hanson Library 4-5pm Caregivers and children ages 0-5 are invited to a playdate at the Library! Join us anytime between 4:00-5:00 pm for some themed early learning activities. Continuing with our alphabet theme, this week’s session will be all about the letter J. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child. Each month activities, experiments and instructions will be provided on a different science topic you can do with your child. This May we’ll be learning about Plants. Scituate Library Music with Mamasteph 10am
For Children Ages 0-5 Along with Their Caregivers* Mamasteph brings her traditional children’s songs for sing-alongs and musical stories to the Scituate Town Library! Starting in May, the library will eliminate the ticket requirement for its popular Mamasteph program. We hope that this change will allow easier program access for families who cannot make it during the week for tickets. However, due to fire code restrictions, this room has a strict capacity limit per show. Once we have reached the fire code limit, we are unable to admit any additional people to the room. We will evaluate this new process on a regular basis, and make modifications as needed. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation as we transition to this new system!
