The Rustic Kitchen restaurant  is located at the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham  just off Exit 15 on Route 3 South  – this restaurant has received many industry awards including being voted Boston Magazines’ “Best New Restaurant” in 2005.  It’s atmosphere has a old world  bistro type of flair.  It is a great place to go dine after shopping at stores at Derby stores. The outdoor patio is especially comfortable for diners to enjoy while watching the vibrant sidewalk scene or to sit at the awning covered bar while watching one of Red Sox games.

Sunday brunch is served from 11-3pm with some traditional and non traditional breakfast offerings. They have a delicious mushroom and goat cheese omelet as well as egg benedict and waffles.  They serve lunch Monday through Saturday until 4pm.  Salads, pasta, panni’s make up the lunch menu. Their dinner menu is a bit more varied and includes some delicious appetizer to start such as Italian spring rolls which could almost be a meal in itself . They have comfort classics with a bi of a twist including veal meatloaf and parmesan crusted mashed potatos or maybe you  want Lobster mac and cheese .  

This is more of a romantic night out place than a kids oriented restaurant. They often do have a wait so reservation by  phone are recommended.  They also have locations at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut and   downtown Boston at Park Square where they host a weekly cooking show.
