Free Friday nights acoustic concerts in Plymouth MA
The Acoustic Nights Free Concert Series runs from  Friday nights at 6pm  July 15 to September 2 on the lawn of the Hedge House Museum at 126 Water St, Plymouth.  Come bring your blankets and lawn chairs, sit down and relax, as you enjoy free acoustic music in Plymouth this summer!
07.15.11 – ANIKA SCRIBBLING + Stephen Capachione + Large
Pembroke folk group Anika Scribbling will open up the  summer of free music at the Hedge House Lawn July 15th! Joining them will be Steve Capachione, playing a mix of piano, keyboards, and electronica. Both are side projects of up-and-coming indie-alt-rock group Emma Ate the Lion (who will be playing the PIMF). Opening up the show will be Plymouth band Large, performing an acoustic set, and talented Cape Cod singer-songwriter Brian Sances
07.16.11 – LUCAS CARPENTER + Jared Salvatore
Showstopping NYC singer-songwriter Lucas Carpenter takes the stage at the Hedge House Lawn, performing his incredible tunes, including crowd favorites like “Art Kids From the Country†and “Frowny Face Away Messageâ€. His high octane electro-acoustic show is something you don’t want to miss – multiple instruments, percussion, homemade contraptions, all joined together with some masterful loop-pedaling and songwriting.
Joining him will be Boston’s Jared Salvatore, another talented nationally-touring singer-songwriter – he’s been recognized at songwriting competitions from coast to coast and has toured with a whole bunch of bands, including Lansdowne.

Come to the Hedge House for nice relaxing evening with soulful Plymouth solo artist Doug Logan, supported by RI acoustic folk/roots/ska-punk group Reverend Bastien, acoustic band Nibba, and Cape folk singer-songwriter Catherine King.

Boston singer-songwriter Ben Carter brings his folky pop sound back to the Hedge House on the first Friday night of August. . You can listen to & download his awesome 2010 debut full-length album “Open Windows/Screened-In Porches†here. Sharing the stage with Ben will be Plymouth pianist-singer, and former a capella singer, Nate Cristofori with his silky smooth ballads and singalongs, and talented Cape Cod singer-songwriter Carly Tefft, who will open up the night at 6pm.
08.12.11 – JAKE HILL + SARAH BLACKER + Westerly Whales
Jake Hill is a rising star in the blues-folk-country scene, and wouldn’t you know it, he hails from our fair town of Plymouth. Jake has toured the country, and released 4 full length albums packed with his gritty, sweet, rowdy, and bluesy brand of Americana. Mr. Hill writes some great music by anyone’s standards, but to truly experience it you need to see him live and in person. Joining Jake is captivating Cambridge singer-songwriter Sarah Blacker, whose brand of twangy folk is regularly compared to Natalie Merchant, Joni Mitchell and Regina Spektor.
