Day 263 Rehoboth Agricultural fair and carnival 2011
The Rehoboth Agricultural fair and carnival will held this weekend from Thursday August 11th to Sunday August 14th.  The fair again will feature truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, animal shows, entertainment, a midway carnival, kids activities, fireworks, food and vendors.
The new white tiger show is expected to be one of this year’s highlights. It features Vicenta Pages, a fifth-generation circus performer, and her six white Bengal tigers. Pages has performed with Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus since she was 19 and recently started a solo tour around the country.
Favorite performers that will be returning include Lance Gifford’s magic show, Lucky Bob’s juggling/prop show, and Granny’s Racing Pigs.
The Agricultural fair’s animal shows will be back, including horse and 4-H livestock shows on Friday and rabbit and dog shows on Saturday and Sunday. Young people from around the area, representing the Future Farmers of America, 4-H clubs and Bristol County Agricultural High School in Dighton come to participate in the livestock events.
Saturday will be Kids Day, and there will be many special activities including the popular kiddie tractor pulls, a bounce house and a mini-horse show.
