Patriots Place is offering fun free things to do Monday through Saturday each day of the kids summer vacation starting June 27th. All events take place across from Kidville unless noted.
Here are the events for the week of Aug 22nd
Monday Aug 22nd
Tattoo Airbrush Artist – 11:00am: These colorful tattoos last two to three days and are sure to make you look cool. Choose from dozens of designs to adorn your body — from tribal bands to flowers we have them all! Brought to you by FUN Enterprises! Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center.
Summer Concert Series – 6:00pm-8:00pm: Eastern Mountain Sport’s Summer Concert series at Patriot Place is the perfect chance to get out and enjoy some great music on these warm summer nights! Bands from all over New England will be playing from 6pm to 8pm; this is a free event and music that the whole family will enjoy!
Tuesday Aug 23rd
Storytime at Showcase Cinema de Lux -11:00am: FREE event for kids and their parents! After a story reading on the big screen, a special character makes a weekly appearance followed by a short movie! A great interactive time that the kids and parents love! This week’s guest is Elmo!
Bounce House Fun – Jump around all afternoon in Patriot Place’s inflatable bounce houses. Located in the North Marketplace outside of Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, enjoy great views of Gillette Stadium as the kids bounce the day away! Activity is weather permitting.
Wed Aug 24th
Pretzel Kids Yoga with the Hockomock Area YMCA – 10:30am: Join Lisa Connors, certified Pretzel Kids® Yoga instructor from the Foxboro Y for a fun filled yoga class! This is an amazingly fun program that incorporates traditional Hatha yoga postures with imaginative yoga games and relaxation techniques. Recommended for children ages 5-10. Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center.
Family Fitness Fun on the Plaza – 5:30pm – 6:15pm: Get yourself in the best shape ever this summer! Join us for an incredible workout great for every member of the family with a focus on total body strengthening and stretching. Bring your own mat or towel. ** All Ability Levels Welcome*
Thursday August 25th
Tom Knight Puppets Show – 3:00pm: Tom Knight has been writing and performing for kids since 1988. Tom brings his portable stage and hand-made puppets to schools, libraries, theaters and festivals all throughout the Northeast. Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center.
Friday August 26th
Bounce House Fun – 1:00pm – 3:00pm: Jump around all afternoon in Patriot Place’s inflatable bounce houses. Located in the North Marketplace outside of Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, enjoy great views of Gillette Stadium as the kids bounce the day away! Dates and Times for this activity is subject to change. Bounce Houses are weather permitting. Revolution Soccer Clinics on the Plaza -12:30pm – 1:30pm: Want to play like the pros? Then you have to practice like one too! Join us Fridays this summer for our Revolution Soccer Clinics featuring drills and training with the Revolution staff. This is a great activity for the kids to get out and play! Mad Scientist – 3:00pm: Mad Science® is the world’s leading science enrichment provider. We deliver unique, hands-on science experiences for children that are as entertaining as they are educational. Mad Science is proud to introduce millions of children to a world of discovery while sparking their imagination. Mad Science encourages scientific literacy in children in an age when science is as vital as reading, writing and arithmetic. Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center.
