You know the end of summer is here when the King Richard’s Faire comes to town! It is the 30th anniversary of the faire this year!  Moms, Dads and kids will be enjoy this this family festival.  If you’ve never been to the King Richard’s Faire, do yourselves a favor and go and you will go back time and again.

King Richard’s Faire is a Renaissance fair held in Carver, which recreates a 16th century marketplace, including hand-made crafts, foods, musicians, singers, dancers, minstrels, mimes, jugglers, magicians, comedians, puppeteers, gymnasts, exotic animals ( acrobats, mud beggars, stilt walkers, knights jousting on horseback, a royal court, and King Richard. King Richards Fair will  be running  Weekends September 3 thru October 23, 2011
Including Labor Day and Columbus Day Mondays

You’ll gasp as the King’s mounted knight’s battle on horseback, and laugh as bawdy beggars compete in mud. Strolling performers will engage you all day long as you frolic in our forest and try your skill at the Gaming Glen.

What about the Food!! Epicurean pleasures will tantalize your taste buds with the Faire’s unbelievable choices of truly scrumptious treats. Satiate your palate with spit-roasted giant turkey legs, boules of chowder and stew, ringlets of fryes, champagne, wine and brew!

Discover over 100 talented artisans who journey from all over the country to display and hawk their magnificent wares. You will be delighted and intrigued by the fantastic glass blowing, portrait painting, hand-spun pottery, sword making, fabulous jewelry, leather and armor, period clothing, moccasins, perfumes and scented oils, face painting, and physic readings.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance on the  website by credit card.  Please visit our ticket page.  You may also purchase tickets at the gate the day you attend.  Tickets purchased at the gate must be paid for with cash.  Several ATM’s are available inside the Faire.
