Day 336 Winterfest in Whitman MA 2011

The 18th annual Winter fest in Whitman town center  is being held  this Sunday afternoon  December 4th   2:30-6 p.m.  It is a free afternoon of fun for the entire family. It is a great way to get into the Christmas holiday spirit~  People can make food donations at Mutual Bank and Toys for Tots donations at the Senior Center across from the town park.

Events include pony rides, balloon makers.   hay ride through the park as well as Santa pictures in  Mutual Bank as well as moon bounces.

Yo-Yo people in Whitman center from 3-5 p.m.

“The Great Benafuchi” in Town Hall from 3-5 p.m.

Adult hot dog eating contest in front of McGuiggans Irish Pub at 2:30 p.m.

OnStage Theatre, 3-4 p.m. in Menard’s parking lot

Nail Design by Kathy’s Nail for kids 10 and under from 2-4 p.m.

Operation I.D. at the new police station from 3-5 p.m.

Rock-climbing wall in the center of town from 3-5:30 p.m.

Mix 104.1 radio station and ice sculptures in the center from 3-5:30 p.m.

Hayrides in Town Park from 3-5:30 p.m.

Trolley ride in Town Park from 3-5:30 p.m.

Wood carving at the senior center from 3-5:30 p.m.

Caricatures by Ed in Whitman center from 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Pat Snow Dance Academy in the center at 3 p.m.

Little Miss and Mister Winterfest crowning at Town Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Refreshments throughout downtown all afternoon.

Santa photos at Mutual Bank from 2:30-5 p.m.

Miss Kay’s School of Dance in the center  from 4:45-5:15 p.m.

Whitman Academy of Performing Arts in the center from 3-4 p.m.

Face painting at the senior center from 3-5:30 p.m.
