February school winter vacation is fast approaching and if you are like my family you are not heading on a plane to somewhere warm. Â Here are some events and activities that will keep the kids busy on the South Shore Check back as additional activities will be added as we learn about them! It’s a week of sightings, abductions and close encounters of the extra-terrestrial kind.
Traveling at the speed of light from a distant galaxy, Code-E the Alien has been sent by his planet’s Supreme Being to study aspects of planet Earth. While on a probe for specimens, Code-E’s spaceship mysteriously vanishes. Could it be that men in black have captured the craft as part of a government conspiracy and ensuing cover-up or has absent-minded Code-E simply forgotten where he parked it? It is a case involving national security that needs to be solved at warp speed!

Ventriloquism never stops amazing children or adults. Donna Marie and Her Friends provide that amazement and a whole lot more. Beginning as a singer and dancer, she soon discovered ventriloquism, appearing as a featured performer on the east coast. With her singing, dancing, yodelling and flair for comedy, her show captures the imagination of audiences of all ages. Donna Marie has appeared on many television programs throughout New England and Canada, including the Disney Channel. Above all, Donna Marie has a unique rapport with children, drawing them effortlessly into her magical world where all sorts of wonderful creatures reside and where outrageously funny things happen.

THE JIM SHOW
Armed with nothing more than a trunk full of props, a quick, dry wit, and a mysterious, “cat-like” agility, Jim bounds to the stage and begins his show. He performs amazing feats of skill, thrives on audience interaction, and enjoys accepting challenges. He runs, he jumps, he dances and sings! (Actually, Jim doesn’t do any singing.)

Enjoy cultural performances like a drum circle, a soul band, a Chinese ribbon dance, a dragon dance and karate demonstrations. Crafts include your own dragon mask, traffic lights and lucky envelopes.
Free Drama Class in Norton MA wed Feb 22nd   Join us for some winter vacation fun. This class is for all ages to come and check out what Drama Kids is all about. It is a fully interactive view into the fun. Bring your voice, body, creativity and a friend. This is an event to remember!
