Day 367 Music and Magic show in Plymouth MA

If you are looking for a fun family event to kick off February vacation week, then look no futher than Plymouth!   “Music and Magic” is a fun-filled, inspiring show by the Starry Night Band coming to the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Plymouth at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February . 19. This fundraiser in support of First Parish is appropriate for all ages, so take the whole family and enjoy an afternoon of lively acoustic music plus sleight-of-hand  magic by “Presto the Prestidigitator.”

 

Presto (aka Barry Simon) also plays the hammered dulcimer in the band, which also includes Patty Simon on flute, Bill Sherman on guitar, and Elaine Ryan on the upright bass. Starry Night’s varied acoustic music includes unique arrangements of folk, classical, Celtic, blues, jazz and original compositions, as well as some favorite vocals

 

Tickets for the event are $15; students and seniors pay $10 and children under 12 will be admitted free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the church office, online at www.eventbrite.com/s/7F43 or at the door. CDs will be available for purchase. The snow date is Sunday, Feb. 26.
