Day 366 Olde Abington Tricentennial Gala and other celebrations

Abington is turning 300 years old and they are throwing a Gala to celebrate!

The Olde Abington Tricentennial Gala will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday night, March 3, at the Massasoit Conference Center in Brockton which is next to Christos.

 

The event includes  a buffet dinner and entertainment by Four Guys in Tuxes: The Sextet, as well as a few surprises.  You will be able to dance the night away!  Residents of “Olde Abington,” which included Rockland and Whitman as well as present-day Abington, are invited to join in the celebration. Feel free to dress in historical clothing.

 

Tickets are $25 per person, and can be purchased at the Abington Public Library, the Abington Senior Center, Abington Ale House, Busy Beaver Gift Shop, Mia Regazza Restaurant and That Little Basket. They are also available in Whitman at Duval’s Pharmacy and Regal Market Place, and in Rockland at town hall and Anita Marie’s Coffee Shop.
