Day 395 Boston Irish Cultural Festival in Canton MA 2012
The 2012 Boston Irish Festival will be held will be on from Friday evening June 8th to Sunday June 10th at the Irish Culutral Center of New England  in Canton MA.  This great family friendly  festival boasts heel-clicking Celtic music by both local and world-famous Irish bands, as well as step dancing, Irish football and hurling, an Irish soda bread baking competition, and fun activities for the kids, including face painting and field games. Browse craft shops for a Father’s Day gift, score a genealogy consultation, admire Irish setters and wolfhounds, and — if you’ve got red locks — help break the world record for the most redheads in one area… in a photo that just may become your clan’s new crest.
Kick off the Boston Irish Festival on Friday night  with Gaelic Storm  a great Irish band with sounds like Chucky Trimm. Main stage entertainment on Saturday includes  The Glengarry Bhoys, and  The Prodigals. Sunday’s main stage will include the Screaming Orphans, Devri Band, and the Goshites. There will be several other stages with plenty of traditional Irish music.
The Boston Irish Festival is fun for kids of all ages!  Children’s age 12 and younger are admitted FREE and there are kid friendly activities all day long on Saturday & Sunday to keep the whole family happy.

Gaelic games are sports played in Ireland and consist of Gaelic Football and Hurling.  The Boston Irish Festival will be featuring Gaelic games on Saturday and Sunday.  Come and enjoy a great spectator sport of Boston’s finest Gaelic footballers.

Friday Admission is $25 ($20 in advance) Saturday and Sunday admission is $15 at the gate. Â Children under 12 are free.
