Day 408 Pembroke goes Pink Family Fun day

Sharing is caring!

Pembroke is going pink  for Sandra’s Journey  on Sunday June 24th to help raise money for breast cancer for one of the town’s residents  who is battling breast cancer.  This will be family fun day on Sunday from 10-2pm to help raise money for the cause.

Sandra Horvath  envisioned this special day last year when she received a clean bill of health after being diagnosed . It would be a day of events, entertainment, food, vendors, families, friends and fun! She wanted to raise funds for women being treated at the Dana Farber and going through what she had just gone through. Sadly, a Sandra was diagnosed again early this year with stage 4 metastic breast cancer. She is working hard to maintain her health. She is seeking many alternative treatments in addition to medical drug trials. We hope that this day is everything that she envisioned and more and that the proceeds will help her with whatever treatments she may need to regain her health.

Don’t  miss out on a a school principal in the dunk tank, Pembroke police vs. Fire tug of war, DJ, Pembroke Youth Basketball 3 vs.3  Bryanville Deli’s grills going in full force, Raffles & Silent Auctions including 1 week in Orlando, iPad, iPod, Red Sox tx, Pandora Bracelet, gift cards galore…also don’t miss AKKA Karate demonstration & Girls on the Go- Hoe Down Show Down!  There will be plenty of vendor there to discuss holstic medicine and the communtiy has rallied with events.
