Monday  July 30th

CREATION STATION
11:00am:

Join Patriot Place for hands-on art activities that explore a wide range of art media and tools. Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center (across fromKidville and Charming Charlie in the North Retail).This week’s activity features: Bug Boxes

Tattoo Airbrush Artist
11:00am – 1:00pm:

These colorful tattoos last two to three days and are sure to make you look cool. Choose from dozens of designs to adorn your body – from tribal bands to flowers, we have them all! Located outside of Old Navy.

 

Tuesday July 31st

Storytime at Showcase Cinema de Lux
11:00am:

FREE event for kids and their parents! After a story reading on the big screen, a special character makes a weekly appearance followed by a short movie! A great interactive time that the kids and parents love! This week’s guest is Curious George

Bounce House Fun
12:00pm – 2:00pm:

Jump around all afternoon in inflatable bounce houses. Located in the North Marketplace outside of Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, enjoy great views of Gillette Stadium as the kids bounce the day away! Dates and times for this activity are subject to change. Bounce houses are weather permitting.

Zumba on the plaza
6:30pm:

Bookworm Wednesdays at Showcase Cinema DeLux
10:00am:

Join us for Bookworm Wednesdays, our summer literacy program! Each Wednesday until August 8, children who present a book report will receive free admission to a special film at 10 am. Visit www.showcasecinemas.comfor the schedule and to download a book report form. Adults who accompany participating children also receive free admission. The Bookworm Wednesdays feature for August 1 is Alvin and The Chipmunks – CHIPWRECKED (G, 87 minutes)

Face Painting at Old Navy!

Be sure and visit Old Navy where the face painters are sure to make you look cool. Choose from dozens of designs! Patriot Place and in the event of inclement weather will be held inside the Patriot Place activity center.

A selection of staff favorite activities designed to build on fundamental scientific principles to strengthen budding young scientists through experimentation. Located in the Patriot Place Activity Center across from Charming Charlie and Kidville.

 

Thursday August 2nd

Anna’s Talking Hands Theatre Puppet Show
3:00pm:

Puppeteer Anna Sobel entertains children, engaging minds and imaginations as well as their sense of humor. This week’s performance is Little Superheroes. Raccoon and Benny Bunny are little superheroes in training. In order to win their superpowers, they’ll have to prove that they’re super fearless, super helpful, and want to save the world. This show includes information about ways kids can help protect our environment, such as planting a tree and recycling. Appropriate for ages 2-8. The show will be held at the Patriot Place Activity Center across from Charming Charlie andKidville.

 

Friday August 3rd

Revolution Soccer Clinic
2:00pm – 3:00pm:
Want to play like the pros? Then you have to practice like one too! Join us for this special Summer Sensation Revolution Soccer Clinic featuring drills and training with the Revolution Academy Coaches. This is a great activity for the kids to get out and play! This event is located in the lower plaza outside of The Hall presented by Raytheon and the Pro Shop.Some helpful hints:

  • Participants should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of clinic
  • Recommended for ages 7 – 14. All ages accepted.
  • Sneakers preferred. You do not need shin guards or a soccer ball.

 

Friday August  4th

Joe’s Magic Show

For years FUN Enterprises, Inc. has provided amazing entertainment to all ages and family events nationwide. This will be amazing, dynamic, and spectacular! Watch in disbelief as things appear and disappear right before your eyes! Located at the Patriot Place Activity Center across from Charming Charlie and Kidville.)

Backyard Games at Patriot Place

There is nothing like a little friendly competition at Patriot Place! Grab the kids and take part in our super sized backyard games: Checkers, Chess, Block Stack, Ladder Ball, Bean Bag Toss and more! Located outside of the Patriot Place Activity Center.

Sunday August 5th

Sounds of Summer presented by Patch.com – TransMission
5:00pm – 5:30pm:

The long-running cover band, TransMission, continues to play the Rhode Island/Mass/Connecticut scene to rave reviews. This 3-piece group plays all of the best classic rock, 80’s & 90’s hits, and recent top 40 dance tunes!

 

Sounds of Summer presented by Patch.com – Static Luminosity
6:00pm – 7:30pm:

Static Luminosity is the result of extensive training for these 14-16 year olds who play jazz, blues, jam band and classic rock. The group consists of Jared Celia on bass, guitar and lead vocals, Robert Matthews-Forte on guitar, bass and lead vocals, Dan Tekin on guitar and bass and Noah Celia on drums and background vocals. They will pretty much play anything, play it well and don’t just stick to one genre!
