4th Annual Run for the the Roses in Whitman MA
The 4th annual Run for the Roses ride will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in memory of Rachel & Lillian Rose Entwistle to benefit the fight against Domestic Violence and Child Abuse.
Each year, the “Run for the Roses” has grown tremendously in popularity, attendance and success.
It has become “THE RUN” of the year in the South Shore and includes not just Motorcycles, but also Corvettes, Classic Cars & Hotrods along with a Live Band, Pig Roast, raffles, great exhibits and more.

The Rachel and Lillian Rose Foundation is in memory of a mother and her 9 month old baby daughter who were murdered at the hands of the husband and baby’s father. This man was someone who they loved, shared their lives and dreams with and trusted.
Family violence is a silent and often denied part of lives happening on a daily basis so as to become a “norm” for some.  Love can cloud the picture so much that those involved cannot recognize the dangers.
Our Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (ID #273951808), is raising funds to go out into the community to educate people of all ages to the signs of family violence and provide information on where to turn for help and guidance in their lives to avoid tragedy. Family violence affects all ages and social-economic levels.
We would like to ask you to join us in our endeavor to make a difference, to help those who need to make a change and provide the resources they need to do it. Regrettably I know that most people can think of someone who influences their daily life who has or is caught up in some act of family violence.
