Day 501 4th Annual Whitman Hanson Pizza Bowl 2013
South Shore folks love pizza! So  then you will need to check the 4th annual  Whitman-Hanson pizza bowl that will be held on Sunday January 27th  from 1-4pm at the Whitman Hanson Regional High school  The Pizza bowl is being sponsored by the Whitman Hanson Educational foundation and the Rockland Hanson Rotary club.
There is no football playoffs that Sunday just the Pro bowl playing that night! The pizza bowl is a great way to taste some pizza and make sure you chose your favorites to order on Superbowl Sunday!
Come and Taste test pizzas from local pizza places from Whitman, Hanson, Pembroke and Hanover.  For just $5 admission  you can vote on pizzas in the following categories: Cheesiest Cheese Pizza, Manliest Meatiest Pizza, Kid’s Choice, Vegetarian’s Voice and the Ultimate Bar Pizza. This year they have 12 local  pizza places including new Whitman restaurant Uncle Davids!  Soda and chips are extra! Pizza awards will be presented between 3:30 and 4 p.m.

The kids  can work off that extra winter energy and join in the field games hosted by Stardust Gym of East Bridgewater  and the Old Colony YMCA. Money rasied from this event  from this event will help to send the first Whitman Hanson  student delegation to China in April.
