Are you looking for something wicked  uniquely New England to do this winter  Come to Hanover, Massachusetts a picturesque New England Village to a Historic House Museum to make ice candles on Saturday January 26th at  4 pm EST at the Hanover Historical Society Fire and Ice program.

Consider yourself invited to the Hanover Historical Society’s Fire and Ice Program. The program will include making your own ice candle, a talk about historic Ice harvesting in Hanover, and an illumination ceremony at the end. The event will take place at  the historic Stetson House barn complete with an assortment of hot apple cider and cocoa to warm you on cold winter January afternoon. . This celebration of light is sure to lift your winter spirits and bring you back to the simpler days of Hanover’s past.  Kids of all ages will enjoy this event
