Butte: Montana’s Irish Mining Town: Lecture, Performance, & Dinner

Saturday March 2nd  6-9pm

The ICC, in conjunction with the Eire Society, is proud to present the story of the Irish miners who made Butte, Montana “the richest hill on earth” and the most Irish city in America. Mike Dwyer, historian, poet, and grandson of a Butte, Montana miner, will present this story.

Dinner included with Admission

$30 General Admission

Sunday Mass and Irish Breakfast

Sunday March 3rd

Please join us for our ever popular monthly mass held on the first Sunday of every month.The mass begins at 11am followed by a tasty Irish breakfast for $12 $5 for children under 12 at the door (3 & under are free)

 

Roots of American Music Lecture by Mick Moloney

 

Thursday March 7th

Musician, author, and folklorist Mick Moloney will present a lecture on the Irish and African roots of American music. Moloney has a Ph.D. in folklore and currently teaches at New York University in the Irish Studies Program. 7:30pm $10 per person

ICC Celebrity Chef Series presents:Brian Houlihan   of Bia Bistro

 

Monday March 11th  7;30-9:30pm

 

The ICC welcomes successful restaurateur and Cork native Brian Houlihan of Bia Bistro restaurant in Cohasset. Brian will demonstrate two of his favorite dishes: Drunken Mussels steamed in Smithwicks Irish Ale with an herbed cream; and Guinness Braised Beef Short Ribs with Cashel  bleu whipped potatoes and roasted vegetables.

The Joshua Tree Concert

Friday, March 15th, 8:00pm

Start your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations early at the ICC with Joshua Tree this March! Known as the nation’s premier tribute to U2, Joshua Tree plays all your favorite U2 songs–both hits and lesser-known songs–and will keep you dancing all night long.

 

This event tends to sell out early, so purchase your tickets in advance!

Tickets: $15 per person 

 

 

Saint Patrick Day weekend celebrations in Canton MA

 

Saturday March 16th
Get your St. Patrick’s Day  Celebrations started early!

 

Non-stop music beginning at 1pm, continuing all day and night!

We’ve got great Irish music from The Locals, a traditional Irish session with Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, and local favorite Dan Hallissey. We’ll also have Irish dancing by the talented O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance.

Enjoy Irish dishes including traditional corned beef and cabbage,

and plenty of Guinness.

Bring your friends, family and the kids and come on down for the craic!

 

Doors open at 1pm.

$5pp at the door after 5pm, kids under 12 are free.

Separate cost for food & drinks.

 

 

Saint Patrick’s Day   Sunday March 17th

 

 

We open our doors at 7am with a hearty Irish Breakfast and continue all day with an outstanding line up of non-stop entertainment, food, drinks, and more!  We’ve gotGAA games live from Ireland in the wee hours of the morning, ICC’s inaugural St. Patrick’s Day Irish 5k at 10am, and live Irish music all day beginning at 10:30am, and including the Barnburners from 1-4pm.  We have a fun filled afternoon for the kids with balloon animals, face painting,

storytelling and the talented Haley School of Irish dance.

 

Tickets available for $10pp online or at the door,

children under 12 are free.

Food served all day. Separate cost for food and drinks.
