The museum also hosts temporary exhibits, such as displays of polymer clay sculptures, fantasy teapots, an exhibit on the meaning of shoes,] and a current display of Native American basket weaving. It pairs with a local high school to offer weaving and ceramics lessons for special needs students.

The Museum is surrounded by over 700 acres of scenic woodland and the brilliant architectural landscape of Frederick Law Olmstead’s D.W. Field Park in Brockton, MA. They like to call it the lost gem of Boston’s Emerald Necklace. The Museum’s award-winning 21,000 square foot building, sculpture garden, courtyards, and nature trails (like Caroline’s Pathway) provide a serene getaway. With high ceilings, wide corridors, slate floors, natural wood beams, and myriad floor-to-ceiling-windows—there is an abundance of natural light and atmosphere that blurs the line between  indoor and outdoor beauty.
