Day 655 North River Church Rib Cook Off 2013 in Marshfield MA
The  North River church will be holding its 5th annual Rib cook off on Saturday September 14th from 12 noon to 5pm.  Don’t miss the fun–5th great year!  Food, music, friends, face painting, jumpy house and of course great ribs! Ten teams will compete for a first place trophy.   Judging beings at 4pm.
Live entertainment by Jim Sylvia, there will be face painting, a jumpy house and other kids’ activities as well as a bake sale.  Besides ribs there will also be hamburgers and hot dogs.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $7 for children under 12, price includes sample of 8 ribs (4 ribs for children under 12), baked beans, cole slaw and cornbread. Beer, wine and soft drinks also available all proceeds benefit the Church’s adult and youth missions. In years past the adults and youth have traveled to places such as Biloxi, MS and Appalachia to help rebuild homes and serve in the community.
