The Nutcracker Ballet South of Boston Performances 2013
The Nutcracker Ballet – it just may be the most classic of holiday traditions. And while the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker is the most traditional of them all, choices for Souh Shore  families are numerous: traditional performances to modern interpretations, full-length, lavish productions to less traditional versions. 
Below is a list of South Shore -area performances of the Tchaikovsky holiday classic, coming to multiple stages in the coming weeks.

José Mateo’s Ballet Nutcracker in Duxbury

José Mateo’s Ballet Theatre presents its 26th season of its beloved production of The Nutcracker, 16 South Shore Conservatory (SSC) ballet students will be among the dancers on stage.  The production runs from November 29 through December 22, starting with a three-day run at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center, 73 Alden Street in Duxbury. You can purchase tickets here  Tickets are $15-$50
The International Ballet School of Norwell
The International Ballet School of Norwell will be performing 2 shows of the Nutcracker on  Saturday  December 7th and Sunday December 8th  at

South Shore Ballet Company  Hingham
The four performances of The Nutcracker are Saturday, Dec. 14th at 2 p.m. and 6.p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15th at 2 p.m. and 6p.m. Performances will be in Hingham at Derby Academy. All seats are reserved. Tickets are $16. Stop by the school at 24 Rockland St, Hanover or call 781-312-7224.
