Day 713 Whitman Winterfest Holiday Festival 2013
Whitman 20th  annual Winterfest will be held on Sunday afternoon December 1st 2013   in the center of town from 3-6pm. 
There will be a hot dog eating eating contest, from trolley rides, pony and hay rides Many of the day’s activities will take place in and around the center of town – Whitman Town Park, the senior center on Hayden Avenue and the town hall on South Avenue.
From 3 to 5 p.m., there will be performances from the Whitman Hanson Regional High School chorus, Dance Dimension, and Tama  Dojo martial arts school will be performing n the center of town. There will also be moonwalks, ice sculptures, Yo-Yo people, rock climbing wall and lots more! The Flying Pig Emporium will be doing a reading of the Polar Express at 3:30.
The holiday festival will culminate with Santa’s Parade at 5:45 p.m. followed by a fireworks show at 6 p.m.
