Day 735 Fall River Children’s Christmas Holiday Parade 2013
The  29th Annual  Fall River Children’s Holiday Parade! Will be held on Saturday December 7th.  This parade continues to be one of the largest Children’s Holiday Parades in New England. It features over 140 items , including floats, Macy’s Parade style balloons, the Hallamore Clydesdales and of course, Santa Claus.
The event will kick off just before 1pm when Santa arrives by helicopter at Kennedy Park. Once Santa has settled into his horse drawn sleigh, the parade will travel down South Main Street and end on Bedford Street.
Expect the parade to last for at least 2 hours but the fun doesn’t end when the parade does….They will  have live music at Government Center being provided by  the Baha Brothers from 3-6pm. In between, they  will be serving hot cocoa and hot dogs before the tree lighting ceremony at 4:45!!!
