Day 759 Grease the musical play at Whitman Hanson High School
We all know the names-Danny Zuko, Sandy Dumbrowski, Kenickie, Rizzo, Marty and Frenchy.  The Whitman Hanson  High school  Drama will be performing the classic musical Grease  on  Friday, January 31st 7pm; Saturday, February 1st 2pm or 7pm  The  Whitman Hanson  students will capture the look and sound of the 1950s in a rollicking school musical that salutes the rock ‘n’ roll era.
Bonus performance! Come to the Saturday, February 1st show and see Whitman Hanson & Grease the movie Alumni, Lenni Baker from Sha Na Na perform “Blue Moon†from the movie!
Grease is a story of star crossed lovers and adolescent angst.  Danny and Sandy’s summer holiday romance is quickly trampled by peer pressure when sweet-as-sugar girl meets cool-as-a-cucumber boy in their senior high school year.  Danny’s leather-jacketed gang of T-Birds and Sandy’s new BFFs, the Pink Ladies, are not going to let these two off lightly on the road to a romantic reunion.

This year we will be offering a VIP red carpet event prior to each show. VIP members will be allowed to take pictures on the Rydell High Bandstand with different cast members each night! Cost per pass is $3.00 and funds will go directly to drama club enrichment programs and competition costs.
