Day 825 Old Home Days Fair and Carnival 2014 in Pembroke MA

First Church in Pembroke’s annual Old Home Days Fair will return  Wednesday  May 28 thru Saturday  May 31!  This is a great annual tradition for Pembroke and the South Shore!!   There will be a variety of carnival  rides for all ages, from the Merry-go-round to the famous Pharaoh rocking boat. The Wristband special ( pay one price) is available Wednesday and Thursday from 6-10 as well as Saturday from 1pm until 5pm. Games for younger children will be offered through out the entire weekend as well.  The carnival Fair hours Saturday are 1pm-10pm.

Delicious food will be available from the Snack Bar including the burgers, hot dogs, homemade chowder, chili pizza and more. The first great taste of summer can be sampled at the Traditional Lobster Supper, starting at 6:30 pm Friday evening, available for eat-in or take out. The meal includes a whole lobster, fresh coleslaw, baked potato, rolls dessert and beverage. Saturday morning, will be a Pancake Breakfast from 8-10am, which includes pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. Cost is $5.00 for a Super Stack. The Strawberry Shortcake Festival on Saturday from 1-3pm tops off the weekend and includes shortcake, fresh strawberries, with plenty of whipped cream.

Bluegrass journey is coming!

 

And Don’t Miss the Fair’s Newest Attraction, the Renown Bluegrass Band, Bluegrass Journey! They will be playing in the church sanctuary on Friday evening at 7:00pm! They have performed in the area to a sellout crowd and admission during the fair is free. (A freewill offering will be accepted).
